In the practice of the invention, referring; descriptively to the specific embodiment thereof which is herein exemplified, the dry steam pipe 10, comprises a stand pipe section'- 11, which projects upwardly into a steam dome 12 of aboiler 13. The upper end of the stand pipe section is provided with a horizontal annular flange 14 to which is con- I iliary, not'shown', forjezgample a Stoker steam nected a casing member 15. The deflector 24 comprises an annular up,- standing wall 25, concave-convex incross section, and a cireular'base 26 which projects into the mouth of the receptacle and is se- I cured to the block 22ab a stud 27 and-nuts '28.
