The present invention refersto hydraulic regulators operatingwith a non-compressible regulating liquid, such as water, oil or the j like, in whichthe throttled lpressure liquidconduit and communicating with the conduit leading to the servo-motor, in order to facilitate draining of the servo-motor aswell as vscavenging of the channels for the regulating liquid. Y c The throttle member, which is preferably arranged with respect to the valve casing so as to be removable from the outside thereof, may advantageously'beso constructed and arranged that, when the same is adjusted, connection will in the first instance be established between the servo-motorand the discharge conduit, for the purpose of draining the servo-motor, while on a continued movement of the member, direct connection is furthermore established between. they supply conduit and the discharge conduit for the regulating liquid, for scavenging purposes. Thus quick draining and scavenging is en- Y sured even during the operation of the device. To deiiectfthe liquid issuing through the opening-18 downwards to the passage 19, the pin 15 connected with the regulating lever y14 has a cap 22 secured thereto, said cap beingfreely `movable in a corresponding opening in the casing 20.
The throttle'member consists, in theemy bodiment shown, of a sleeve-like memberf24 screwed into the casing 2O and provided with a handle 23, in which meinber24 the above mentioned contracted vpassage vi's arranged at the end 25 of the member opening into vthe k'supply conduit 4. Said end portion is conical, and the cross-sectionalarea of the 'passage' increases in the direction of flow so thatjamming of extraneous particles o the regulating liquid iscavoided. The liquid entering the sleeve-like ineinber24 through the passage 5 is discharged through openings 26 in the Wall of the sleeve to the channel arrangement tl leading to the servomotor 1, 2 and the nozzle opening` 18.
Between said channel l1 and the outlet passage 19 is provided an opening 2'?, llig. 2, adapted to be regulated by means of the throttle member 24 formed into a valve. rlhis throttle member is, for the said purpose, provided With a conical enlargement 28 adapted in the position shown to tighten against a corresponding seat at the mouth of the opening 27. rl`he front portion of the member 24tis cylindrical and lits tightly into a corresponding opening 29 in the casing 20.
When the member is screwed out, connection is in the iirst insta-nce estab .ished between the channel arrangement il and the outlet passage 19 through the opening 27, and tapping of the servo-motor is effected. When the member 2li is screw-ed further out, the opening 29 is made free and scavenging talres place. Both of these operations may, if desired, be performed While the device active. lllhen required, the member 241 may be entirely removed from the casing 2O for inspection or exchange.

rlfhe mode of operation of the .device is previously lnoivn per se and requires no further discussion here. On alterati-ons of the condition which is to be lrept constant by means of a device of the type in question, for instance of the steam in a steam conduit, the pressure is altered in the chamber 10 and, consequently, the position of the regulating ever 14@ is altered through the bellows 11 and the rod 12, so that pressure liquid will be discharged through the nozzle opening 18 to a greater or smaller extent, corresponding pressure variations being thus produced in the servo-motor Which, in turn, actuates a steam valve, for example, in a corresponding degree.

A hydraulic regulator comprising a servo-motor operating with a non-compressible regulation liquid, a movable member, such as a piston, diaphragm or the like, pertaining to said servo-motor and actu ted by said regulation liquid, an impeding member controlling the discharge of said liquidfrom said servo-motor and actuated by the condil tion Which is to be controlled, a housing, a supply conduit for said regulation liquid leading to said housing, a nischarge conduit for said liquid leading from said housing, a conduit for said liquid leading' from said 11 housing to said servo-motor, and a thro-ttling member in said housing for throttling the regulation liquid before it enters the servomotor, said throttling member forming a regulation valve arranged between said supply conduil; and said discharge conduit and forming a communication between said supply conduit and the conduit leading to the servo-motor, so as to facilitate draining of the servo-motor as Well as scavenging of said con- .1.) duits, and said throttling member being further so secured to said housing as to be rcmovable from the outside thereof and being so constructed that iv adjusted a communication will first be established between the servo-motor and said dischargeconduit, while on a continued adjustment of said ymeniber a direct communication will be yestablished betwen said supply conduit and said discharge conduit.

A hydraulic regulator comprising a member in said housing for throttlingthe regulation liquid before it enters the servoniotor, said throttling member forming a regulation valve arranged between said supply conduit and said discharge lconduit and forming a communication between said supply conduit and the conduit leading to the servo-motor, so as to facilitate' draining of the servo-motor as well as scavenging of said conduits, and said throttling member being further so secured to said housing as to be removable vfrom the outside thereof'r and being so constructed that when adjusted a communication will, first be established between the servo-niotor and saidv discharge conduit, while on a continued adjustment of said member a direct communication will. be established between said supply conduit and said discharge conduit, and a cleansing member removably secured to and arranged in said throttling member. j y

A hydraulic regulator comprising a servo-motor operating with a non-compressible regulation liquid, a movable member, such as a piston, diaphraghm or the like, pertaining to said servo-motor and actuated by said regulation liquid, a'nimpeding member controlling the discharge of said liquid from said servo-motor and actuatedby the condition which is to be controlled, a housing, a supply conduit for said regulation liquid leading to said housing, a discharge conduit for said liquid leading from said housing, ya conduit for said liquid leading from said housing to said servo-motor, a throttling member in said housing for throttling the regulation liquid before it enters the servo-motor, said throttling member forming a regulation valve arranged between said supply conduit and said discharge conduit and forming a communication between said supply conduit and the conduit leading to the servo-motor, so as to facilitate draining of the servo-motor as well as scavenging of saidconduits, and said throttling member being further so secured to said housing as to be removable from the outside thereof, and a cleansing memberrem'ovably secured to and arranged in said throttling member, the passage of said throttling member at the end thereof directed towards said supply conduit having an increasing cross-sectional area in the direction of flow of the regulation liquid, so as to prevent jamming in said inember of extraneous particles entrained with the regulation liquid.
