A further object is to provide a set screw threaded through the end of one of the members and cooperating with the end of the other member, and forming means whereby when the members are clamped on a support, said members are held in substantial parallel relation for insuring a positive clamping operation.
A further object is to provide the cooperating .j aws of the clamping members with threaded lugs extending inwardly and adapted to imbed in asupport for holding the same against pivotal movement when pressure is applied to a member to the side of the clamp. e
With the above and other objects in View the invention resides in the combination and arrangement of parts as hereinafter set forth, shown in the drawings, described and claimed, it being understood that changes in the precise embodiment of the invention may be made within the scope of what is claimed without departing from the spirit of the invention.

The outer end of the lower member 4 is provided with an enlargement 14, through which is threaded at 15 a set screw 16. The upper end of the set screw 16 engages the outer end of the membe` 3 at 17, and by adjusting the screw 16 the positive clamping of the support 1 is insured and at the same time the engagement of the members 3 and 4: with the support l in parallelism is made possible.
The lugs 5 are threaded through the members 3 and 4, and if it is desired to eliminate the same, for instance where there is a finish on the support 1, they can be unscrewed from either or both sides to prevent marring of the finish.
From the above it will be seen that a clamp is provided which is particularly adapted for use by wood workers, and which clamp is provided with means whereby pressure may be applied to a member at an angle, for instance at a right angle to the support and to the clamp, thereby providing a positive clanping and holding device, which will work at various angles. Although the member 2 is shown at a right angle to the clamp and support, it is obvious that pressure could be applied to a member at any angle to the support. The right angle position is shown 'or purposes of illustration only.
The invcntion having been set forth what is claimed as new and useful is 1. A clamp adapted to be received on a support, said clamp comprising spaced aws, a clamping screw extending through said jaws and forming means for forcing the same towards each other, guide pins carried by one of said jaws and slidably mounted in the other jaw, said clamping screw and guide pins being in the same plane, a transverse enlargement carried by one of said jaws and through which said pins and clamping screw extend, and a. pressure screw eXtending transversely through said jaw and enlargemcnt and forming means'whereby pressure may be applied to a member disposed to one side ot the jaw.
2. A clamp adapted to be received on a support, said clamp comprising spaced j aws in parallel relation, adjustable support imbed ding lugs carried by said jaws, a set screw at one end of one jaw and cooperating with the end of the other jaw, a clamping screw spaced inwardly from the set screw, guide pins carried by one of the jaws and slidably mounted in apertures of the other jaw, a transverse enlargement carried by one of the jaws and through which the clamping screw and guide pins extcnd in the same plane and a pressure screw extending transversely through said enlargcment in a plane parallel to the plane of the clamping screw and pins and adjacent the clamping screw and pins, and forming means whereby pressure may be applied to a member located to one side of the clamp.

A clamp adapted to be received on a support, said clamp comprising spaced jaws, a clamping screw extending through said jaws and forming means for forcing the same towards each other, guide pins carried by one of said jaws and slidably mounted in the other jaw, said clamping screw and guide pins being in the sane plane, and a pressure screw extending trz nsversely through one of the jaws and forming means whereby pressure may be applied to a member disposed to one side of the jaw.
4. A clamp adapted to be received on a support, said clamp comprising spaced jaws in parallel relation, adjustable support embedding lugs carried by said jaws, a set screw at one end of one jaw and cooperating with the adjacent end of the other jaw, a'
clamping screw spaced inwardly from the set screw, guide pins carried by one of the jaws and slidably nounted in apertures ot the other jaw, said clamping screw and guide pins being in the same plane and a pressure screw extending transversely through one of the jaws adjacent the clamping screw and pins and forming means whereby pressure may be appled to a nenbcr located to one side of the clamp.
