a bolt mounted for movement into an active and inactive position, means yieldingly holding the bolt in active position, a keeper mounted 011 the rocker lever for movement into an angular position and an axial position with respect to the bolt and engaged by the bolt in both of said positions, means yieldingly holding the keeper in said second position, grip levers secured to the free end of said first lever and connected to the keeper to cause the keeper to be moved into said second position when they are operated, a chute carried by said first lever and adapted to direct a coin in the path of the keeper during its movement from said first to said second position, the keeper during its movement into said second position moving through the medium of the coin the bolt into inactive or keeper releasing position, the keeper after being released and moved into said first position being adapted to be engaged by the bolt when said first lever isin a predetermined position with respect to the bolt, and means constantly tending to move said first lever into such position. 1

A liquid vending apparatus, includmg a pump, a rocker lever for operating the pump, a bolt mounted for movement into an active and inactive position, the bolt moving in the direction of the lever while moving into said first position and moving in a direction away from the lever while moving into said second position, means normally holding the bolt in said first position, a keeper mounted on the lever for movement into an angular and axial position with respect to the bolt and engaged by the bolt in both of said positions, means normally holding the keeper in said first position, means carried by the lever and connected to the keeper for moving the keeper into said second position, and means adapted to direct a. coin in the path of the keeper during its movement from said first to said second position, the keeper during its movement to said second position moving the bolt through the medium of the coin into inactive or keeper releasing position.

A liquid vending apparatus, including a pump, a rocker lever for operating the pump, a bolt mounted for movement into an active and inactive position, the bolt moving in the direction of the lever while moving into active position and moving in a dire-@- tion away from the lever while moving into inactive position, means carried by the lever for directing a coin against the bolt, a keeper mounted on the lever for movement into an angular position and an axial position with respect to the bolt and engaged by the bolt when in both of said positions, the keeper being adapted to engage a coin on the bolt and move the bolt into inactive position through the medium of the coin while being moved into said second position, and means yieldingly holding the keeper in said first position.
7. A liquid vending apparatus, including a pump, a rocker lever for operating the pump, a bolt mounted for movement into an .1
active and inactive position, the bolt moving in the direction of the lever while moving into active position and moving in a direction away from the lever while moving into inactive position, means carried by the lever for directing a coin against the bolt, a keeper mounted on the lever for movement into an angular position and an axial position with respect to the bolt and engaged by the bolt when in both of said positions, the keeper being adapted to engage a coin on the bolt and move the bolt into inactive position through the medium of the coin while being moved into said second position, a slug detector carried by the lever, and means yield ingly holding the lever in said first position.

A liquid vending apparatus, including a. pump, a rocker lever for operating the pump, a bolt mounted for movement into an active and an inactive position, the bolt moving in the direction of the lever while moving into active position and in a direction away from the lever while moving into an inactive position, means yieldingly holding the bolt in active position, brackets carried by the lever, a keeper having arms pivoted to the brackets so that the keeper may move into an angular position and into an axial position with respect to the bolt, means yieldingly holding the keeper in said first position, a coin chute extending longi tudinally through the lever and provided at its lower end with guides adapted to direct a coin onto the bolt, the keeper being adapted during its movement into said second position to engage the coin and through the me dium thereof move the bolt into inactive position, the bolt when in active position engaging the lever in both positions of the latter, other arms carried by the keeper, grip levers pivoted to the lever, and links connecting the grip levers to said other arms.

A liquid vending apparatus, including a stand, measuring chambers carried by the stand, pumps arranged within the stand and communicating respectively with the respective measuring chambers, rocker levers for operating the pumps, coin controlled means within the stand for each lever and normally securing the levers against operation, a hose connected to each measuring chamber, valves controlling the flow ofliquid from the measurmgchambers to the hose, and'means releasing position.

A liquid vending apparatus, including acstand, measuring chambers carried by the stand, pumps arrangedwithm the, stand and communicating respectively with the respective measuring chambers, rocker levers for 7 operating the pumps, coin controlled: means within the sta'ndfor each lever and normally connected to eachrn'easuring chamber, valves controlling the flow ofliquid from the measuring chambers to the hose, means connecting the valves to said coincontrolled means so that said means may maintain the valves open when in, lever locking condition and mainposition, means for renderingthe coin con trolled means ,inefiectiveto lock the levers,the means connecting the valves to the 00111 con trolled means including aisectional rod, and
'elements detachably connecting the rod seetions,therod sections being adapted to be freed from connection with each otherwhen the coin controlled means is rendered ineffective, andhandles detachably secured to certainof saidrod sections.
