'lhis invention relates to radio connections whereby the antenna terminal of a radio set is inductively connected to an electric light socket, thereby utilizing the exterior Wires leading to such socket as an aerial and rendering unnecessary the erection oi? the conventional outside aerial; and has `for its object to provide such a device which shall be ecient in operation and simple and compact in construction.

lin operation, the plug 17 is screwed into any electric light socket, after Which the blades 9 and 10 are connected with plug 17 and the tip 21 is-connected to the antenna terminal of the radio set, which is then tuned to the Wave length of the desired transmitting station, the set, ofcourse, having the 'usual ground connection. The radio iinpulses are collected by the outside Wires and pass through the plug 17 and the blade 9 to the tube 8, whence they are conveyed by electro-static induction across the Wall 3 to the tube i8 and thence by conduction through Wire .20 to `the antenna terminal of the radio set. llt is, of course, understood that no lighting current can tlovv through this radio connection, since the blade 10 is dead-ended at ll vin insulating vvall 6 and blade 9 and tube 8 are insulated from the tube 18 by the vvall 3.
Having thus described'this invention, il hereby reserve the benefit of all changes in form, arrangement, order, or use of parts, as it is evident that many minor changes may be made therein Without departing from the spirit of this invention or' the scope of the ollovving claims..

. l, lin a radio connection, a member formed ot insulating material, a plug attached to said member and adapted for insertion in a lamp socket, said member having concentric recesses leading in from the free end thereor, atube positioned in the outer recess and having an extension for engaging one terininal of said plug, a second extension insulated from said tube and adapted for connection with the other of said plug terminals, a second tube positioned in the other recess and being insulated from the iirstmentioned tube and ineans for attaching said second tube to a radio set and subsequent inductive connection to said socket.

A connecting device for inductively coupling a high frequency receiving set to a low Jfrequency power line, comprising an enclosing body of insulating material9 an armature element in the 'form of a plate within the body having a portion extending to the outside of the body 'for engaging an outlet ot the power line, another plate or" opposite polarity within said body having conductiing means for connecting the same with the receiving seta said plate elements being separated and maintained in spaced relation by the insulating material of the body1 3.
