i proved clothes-pin holder; Fig. 2, a plan view of the connecting-joint of the holder. Fig. 3 illustrates the manner ol' using my invention.
My invention consists in an improved wire holder for conveniently supporting and confining clotl1es-pins, substantially as hereinafter described.
In the drawings, A denotes a clothes-pin. B denotes my improved holder for supporting clothes-pins. Said holder is formed from a piece of wire, which is bent to produce a ring, B1, of sufficient size to readily pass over a persons arm. The wire is twisted together at O,
one part or end being turned downward and bent into a large ring, B2, terminating with an eye, D, while the other part or end is locked or bent with a few turns around the first part,
as at E, and terminates With a hook, F, to receire the eye D, as shown. eye D are arranged in such relation to'each other that they can be readily engaged or released by compressing the ring B2.
When using the clothespins the holder B is hung upon one arm, as illustrated in Fig. 3, and the eye D being released from the hook F, the pins A can be conveniently taken from or placed upon the holder-ring B2 by passing their round eyes a, over the end D of said ring, at the same time leaving the hand otl the operator free in taking the clothes from or placing them upon the line.
Vheu not in use the ring is hookedtoget-her, and the holder and pins can be hung up or otherwise stored away without liability of the pins becoming scattered or lost.
What I claim as new and of my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, as an improved article of manufacture, is-
The wire holder or clothes-pin support, consisting ot' the arm-ring El and support-ring B2, arranged for opening at one side, with a hook, F, and eye D, substantially as and for the purpose set forth.
