This Iinvention vrelates to av socalled t-idouble grip clamp; and has for its object to providea clamp of this character .formed of a stripof metal of a length to have'one end folded about the ornament to attach the clamp thereto and its oppositeend portion 'of arlength to cooperate with` the vfirst end portion to grip and bind the base member between them. l 'Y A further object of the invention is to offset the second en d of the clamp from the plane of the folded first end'thereof to facilitate its grippingthe base member to sef curely attach the ornament thereto.

With these and other objects in View, the Y invention consists of certain novel features of construction, as will be more fully'` dedouble clamp member attached thereto With scribed,"and,particularly pointed out in the appended claims.` v

An ornament attaching clamp, comprising a strip of metal of a length to have one end portion folded about an ornament to bind its parts together and attach the clamp thereto and having its Vopposite end portion offset from the plane of that of the folded z5 first end portionand of a length to overlap said .first end portion and cooperate there withy to engage and vbind an ornament base .member between said end portions, and means on said opposite end portion fo-r loclrl i0 inglyengaging said base member.

An ornament attaching clamp, comprising a strip of metal of a length to have one end portion folded about an ornament to bind its parts together and attach the clamp thereto and having its opposite end portion oil'set fromthe plane ofthat of the folded first end portion and of a length to overlap said first end portion and cooperate therewith to engage and bind an ornament base 40 member between said end portions, spurs on one end portionto enter the ornament, and .spurs-on the opposite end lportion to facilitate attachment to thefbase member. 1
