IMPROVEMENT IN STABLES.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 1 79,901, dated July 18, 1876; application filed To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, FRANK M. DIXON, of Jefferson City, Cole county, Missouri, have invented a new and Improved Safety-Stable, of

A is a cord, of cotton or other combustible material, stretched along the space above the stable, from side to side, to which the halter B of the horse is attached; also, a cord, 0, holding the door E shut-say, by a chain, F, and a padlock, G-and the door has a spring, H, (dotted,) to throw itopen when the cord is released. I is another cord, extending along the space above the stable, from April 4,1876.
Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patcut- 1. The combination of the hitching-cord A and door-cord 0, arranged as shown, with a spring-door, E, substantially as and for the purpose set forth.
2. The combination of the hitching-cord A, halter B, and door-cord O, with the door E and alarm-bell J, substantially as herein set forth, for the purpose specified.
