In the form of Figs. 7 and Skthe tube is formed of three members, the twosections 36 and the coupling 37. This is advantageous, as the length of the tube structure can be varied to suit the distance between the superstructure and the hull of the particular boat to which the device is applied. The device may thus be standardized so as to be readily applied to present day submarine boats of different types. This device may also be applied to double hulled boats, and I dol not intend to in any way limit its usetosingle hull boats.
