A further object of my invention is to provide'a sheet metal member which may be'supported upon an electromagnetic dr vingsystom of a sound reproducer for suspending the drlve rod of the sound reproducer while limiting the whipping action thereof and preventing excessive vibration of'the sound reproducingdiaphragm to which the drive rod is connected.
