Another object is to provide a calling card receptacle for a door, the same including a door plate having a pocket formed in its up- 15 per portion for receiving calling cards the said pocket opening upwardly, the front wall thereof being bulged outwardly tohelp form the pocket and being cut away at its upper margin to facilitate the removal of the cards. With the foregoing and other objects in view the invention resides in the novel construction and arrangement of parts as here'- inafter set forth and claimed:

In accordance with the invention a rectangular pocket 6, open at its upper edge, is provided in the back plate 1, the said pocket being adapted to receive calling cards and the like. While I have herein set forth certain preferred embodiments of my invention it is understood that I may vary from the same in minor structural details, not departing from the spirit of the invention and within the scope of the appended claim.

In a device of the kind describecha door plate having a pocket formed in its upper portion for receiving calling cards, the said pocket opening upwardly, the front wall of the said pocket being bulged outwardly and being cut away at itsupper margins to facilitate the removal of the cards.
