What I claim as newlis:
1. ,A sucker rod gulde comprising a rigid body having a longitudinal channel vcen- V Y trally thereof for the rod, two opposite 1 radial guide ribs, one of which has a transverse slot midway thereofextending'to said i channeh short ribs on said body at right angles to saidfguideribs, one at one side of saidslot, and the other on the opposite side, saidchannel being open beyond said short ribs to admit said rod, and wedgeblocks to clamp said body-to said rod.
