It will also be stated that the clamp may be inverted and reversed in its position and this provides that the supporting arm 10 may be reversed in its positions with respect to those illustrated in Figure 2.
Devices of this character may be made in various sizes and it is quite apparent that various details of construction could be altered without departing from the spirit of the invention. For this reason, I do not wish to confine the scope of the claims only to the details of construction shown Having thus described my invention, what I claim asnew therein and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is: a
1. A device of the character described comprising a clamp bar adapted to be detachably fixed to a support and having a socket therein, a bracket having a mounting shank applicable to the socket in various ways to support the bracket at different positions and a roller a-djustably mounted by the bracket; said clamp having lateral supports extending therefrom for supporting engagement with the bracket at points spaced from the shank.
2. A device of the character described comprising a clamp bar adapted to be adj ustably and detachably fixed to a support and having a. socketformed therein adjacent one end, a bracket having a vertical shank applicable to the socket in various ways to support the bracket at different positions, a yoke adjustably mounted by the bracket at its outer end and a roller mounted by the yoke; said clamp bar having an arm extended laterally therefrom adjacent the socket for supporting engagement with the bracket when the latter is disposed angularly with respect to the bar and having a lug projecting from the end of the bar opposite that at which the socket is formed for supporting the bracket when it is disposed parallel with the bar.
