We claim: In a carton blank separating and feeding mechanism, .a supporting, frame, a support for a stack of carton blanks, a friction device and a retainer for respectively engaging the surface and the edge of the uppermost blank,
; 7 means for movingsaid friction device toward said retainer whereby the engaged blank is moved relative to the next lower blank and separated from the stack by buckling, and
guide fingers on'said frame located in registering cutout portlons of said blanks tor guiding the edges of the cutout portions'oi the engaged blank clear of the edges ofthe cutout portions of the next lower blank.
