This inventionerelates in particular to a suspended cover'adapted for the purpose ot protecting motor vehicles and the like from dust when stored indoors, or to protect same from the elements when storedout of doors. 3 The object of the invention is to provlde a cover of the class described including a means of raising the cover when not 1n use as a means of protectingthe said cover from damage or misuse.
Afurther object of the invention is to provide a cover of the class describedembody- V 'ing certain new and novel 'features hereinafter set forth, claimed following drawing. I p v Fig. 1 is a side elevationalvlew of my 1mproved cover showing same in a raised posltion by dot and dashjlines Fig. 2 is a SlmllaIQ VIGWlllllStI'fllilIlg another form of my improved c0V embodying the same invention.
Fig. '8 illustrates a further form of my im-' proved cover embodying the same invention Fig. 4 is a side elevational deta l view oi. the adjustable joiner asembodied'm my'lmproved device. 5 a I 7 As here embodied my improved devlce comprises an upright member 10, secured at its lower extremity to the ground, or to the 3 floor of a building. The arm 11 is secured at one extremity, to the upper extended por-' tion of the upright member "10, and is hori- 'zontally extendedtherefrom.
The conventional pulley 12 1s rotatably mounted in the'usual shieve'13, secured to the arm 11, at or near the extended extremity thereof. A similar pulley 14 1s ro tatively mounted ,in a similar shleve 15 secured to the arm 11in proximity to the upper'portion of the upright member 10.
The cover proper 16, preferably canvas, cotton ducks, or the likeiwhen used iii-doors, or any suitable waterproof material, such as 7 sheet rubber, rubberized-sheetmg, or the like when used out-of-doors,1is of rectangular shaped sheet construction, Ropes 17 are secured to the corners of the sheet 16, and are secured to the ropes 16' intermediate there' of.
