This invention relates to a device for carrying stamps. V c

One object of the invention is to provide 6 being attached to the end of a pencil, lip

stick, or the like. i A furtherobject of the invention is to provide a stamp carrying magazine in which the stamps are carried on a spindle rotatably 10 inopnted 'within a casing having a slot through which the stamps may be withdrawn. Another object of the invention is to provide a stamp carrying magazine which has few separate parts and which can easily be put together. In accordance with my invention the device comprises a casing With-a slot therein and a spindle rotatably mounted in'said casing to which spindle is attached a strip of waxed cloth or paper, or other suitable material. This strip is of the width of a stamp and is cut at its outer end to form a narrow lead" strip. To this strip is attached a device which is adapted to flip out of the cylinder when it reaches the slot. The spindle may be made in the form of a spool, both ends of said spool being of substantially the internaldiameter of the casing. The spindle may also be made so that one end of it is. adapted to fit into a hole in a bearing plate in the casing. The en-' 1 tire device may be detachably or permanently fitted onto the end of a pencil, lip stick or the like, or can be used alone. An eraser may also be attached a to the outer end of the spindle. i I shall now describe my invention in detail, reference being had to the accompanying drawings.
