Each of the brackets 1 and 2 is provided with across bar 16 of inverted U-form and secured, as at 17, to the arm 4 ofthe bracket. The cross bars 16 are secured to the arms 4 inwardly beyond the pulleys 8 and 9, and they extend transversely of said arms and have their downwardly extending members provided with axles 18. The pulleys 15 are journaled upon the axles 18, and are maintained thereon by nuts 19. v v V 1 The cross'arm 16 of the bracket 1 is'secured to the inner end of the arm of the bracket. The cross arm 16 of the bracket 2 is secured to the arm 4 of the bracket outwardlybeyond the inner end thereofyat a point between said end and the pulley 5. This arm 4 is provided with a downturned inner end 20, and guards 21 are secured, as at 22 to said portion of the arm. The'guides 21 curve laterally, upwardly and outwardly from the arm portion 20 to points above the axles 18 of the bracket 2, and the guides curve downwardly from said points to points beneath the pulley 9. The guards 21 are also supported from this axle 8, the guards being provided for this purpose with arms 22 which are arranged between theirends and extend downwardly therefrom to the axle. The arms 22 are provided with openings for the reception of the axle, and are retained thereon by the nuts 9.

What I claim is: V

r A device of the character set forth, comprising brackets having horizontal arms, .one of said .arms being provided with a clownturned inner end, horizontal pulleys journaled on said arms between their ends, an endless line carried by said pulleys, cross bars carried by said arms, vertical pulleys journaled on the cross bars and supported thereby, and guides associated with the arm tending from said end to points above said second pulleys and from said points to points below said first pulleys.
