An object of my invention is to provide means that will solve the problem of providing re-inforced concrete floors and the like, and with which floors provision is made to facilitate the positioning and re-arrangement of wiring conduits, pipes for other purposes, etc., without requiring break ng away of the concrete floor and the chiseling of holes through the concrete, etc.
Another object of my invention is to provide a structure that will permit withdrawal of the means utilized in providing a hollow floor construction, from the top of such floor structure, after the plastic has set, whereby to permit simultaneous formation of a floor structure and a ceiling next below, and carried by such floor structure in one operation, yet retaining the advantages set forth in the foregoing paragraph.

These and other objects are attained by the means described herein, and disclosed in the accompanying drawings, in which:
Fig. 1 is a fragmental perspective View of a fragment of a plastic structure made in accordance with my invention, showing the domes in the position assumed by them when pouring plastic.
Fig. 2 is a fragmental perspective view of a floor such as disclosed in Fig. 1, from which has been removed the temporary form or dome structure, and wherein a closure plate, forming a detail of my invention has been positioned at the upper surface of the dome.

tions of metal lath 12 that may be in the nature of the lath disclosed in my Patent #1,168,627. A temporary form or dome 13 is provided and protects the lath, with the exception of the exposed ends 14, from the plastic or concrete mass 15. The forms 13 may be of any suitable material or nature for example as shown in Fig. 1, and same may comprise wooden structures, or metal structures as shown in Fig. 3. The concrete mass 15 is poured between adjacent temporary structures 13 whereby to provide concrete beams 16, and in which concrete beams the ends 14: of the lath 12 are embedded. The concrete beams are poured to such thickness so that the upper portions of the temporary forms 13, shown in Fig. 1, and 17 shown in Fig. 3, are exposed above the concrete mass so that after the concrete mass has set, said forms may be removed from the top of the structure thus provided without disturbing the shoring and temporary supporting structure. By reference to the right hand portion of Fig. 1, it will be observed that side strips 18, depending from the top 19 of the temporary dome structure 13, provide seats 20 upon which the edges of top plates 21, see Fig. 2, may rest. If desired, suitable screed holders 22 may be secured upon the concrete beam 16. After plates 21 have been positioned, as shown in Fig. 2, any desired flooring may be built thereover, for example wooden flooring may be mounted thereover by mounting suitable screeds in the screed holders for providing a nail retaining means. Again, a cinder fill 33 may be placed over the plate 21 and the beams 16, and the conduits and the like may be .disposed in this cinder fill. Again, the conduits and the like may be disposed in the space 23 provided between the lath 12 and the top plate 21. In the event that a cement floor rather than a wooden floor is desired, a facing of cement may be placed over the cinder fill. The underface of the lath may have plaster 24 mounted on it.
In Fig. 3 ceiling plates 25 are utilized for providing a finished ceiling surface 26. The ceiling plates may be provided with undercut walls or suitable slots as shown in my various patents, for example #1,487,098, while the removable form 17 carried by such ceiling plates 25 may be removed from the top of the floor, whereupon suitable top plates 21 may be positioned upon the concrete beams 27 for building up a floor as described in reference to Figs. 1 and 2.
From the foregoing it will be readily evident that there is little work attached to the breaking through of the plaster and the lath shown in Figs. 1 and 2 and through the ceiling plates shown in Fig. 3 to permit ready positioning of electric fixtures and the like at any desired place, and that conduits and the like may be readily run to and connected to such fixtures.
In Fig. 4 a type of structure is shown wherein the elongated temporary forms such as 13 and 17 shown in Figs. 1 and 3 are dispensed with and smaller hollow domes, for example as shown in Fig. 3 of my Patent $51,487,098 are employed. In this structure the domes 28 are removed from the top of the floor structure comprising the beams 29 and cross beams 30, and suitable top plates such as 21 may be utilized for closing the tops of the openings provided above the lath 34 used with such forms. Suitable seats 31 may be provided about the openings 32 provided when the forms 28 are removed, so that substantially the same structure may be attained as disclosed in Fig. 2.
lVhat I claim is:
1. In a floor structure the combination of spaced concrete beams having top and bottom faces, means embedded in the beams forming closures for the spaces between the beams at the bottom faces thereof, means removably disposed on the top faces of the means for closing the spaces between beams and removable floor material supported on said means and the top faces of the beams.
2. In combination spaced concrete beams, lath members inclosing the bottom of the space between beams and embedded in said beams, removable plates closing the space between tops of the beams and a removable floor structure supported on said plates and the tops of the beams.
3. In a floor construction the combination of means for forming spaced concrete beams, said beams providing-side walls for ways between the beams, means forming bottom closures for the ways, means removably mounted at the top of the beams to close the ways and a removable floor structure supported on said beams and removable means.
4. In a floor structure the combination of spaced concrete beams providing intermediate ways for the reception of conduits and the like, means forming bottom closures for the ways and serving as a support for ceiling material below the beams, removable means closing the top of the ways, means mounted on the beams for supporting a removable
