VMy invention relates to whistles, and, has for its particular object to provide a whistle for producingtwo different notes, or sounds which blend and result in a single blast when the whistle is blown.

A `further obj ect of the invention is to provide a hollow whistle body formed from a single piece of metal which is provided with two Sound Outlet openings and within which body therel is positioned a reed partition in register with the outlet openingsl and formed by folding partitions by means forwardv edges of the said. deflectors being spaced sections of the of a die operation.

A still further object of the invention is to provide a whistle body from a single piece of metal, so blanked as to provide a hollow circular sound chamber rbodysection when folded midway itslength and to provide a Vshallow tubular mouth piece section, both of which folded body sections are clinched or crimped together at their marginal edges by overlapping the edge of one half of the body upon the edge of the otherV half of the bod i Aystill further object of the invention is the positioning of the reed partition between the marginal edges of the two halves ofthe body when folded to prevent displacement thereof when the marginal edgeof one half of the body is clinched over. the marginal edge of the other half of the body. Y A still further object of the invention is the provision of a whistle which possesses advantages in points of simplicity and etliciency, and, at the same time proves itself comparatively inexpensive in cost of manufacture..

With the above and other objects in view, the invention consists in the novel features of construction, arrangement and combination of parts hereinafter more fully described and finally pointed out in the claims 'hereto appended.
