The invention'relates to improvements in collapsible furniture and has for its primary object the provision of a construction of this character adapted and arranged to serve as a collapsible bath tub or the like.

Another object of the invention is the provision of an improved-construction of this character which is efficient in operation and capable of economical manufacture.

Another object of the inventlon is the provision of a collapsible article of furniture capable of various uses.

Other objects will appear hereinafter.

, In general the objects of the lnventlon are 1 attained by providinga collapsible'open top skeleton frame and a co-operating collapsible tub member. The collapsible tub member is made from a rectangular sheet of Waterproof Y material formed into rectangular vessel form by folding the corners thereof into triangular folds resting against the ends of saidvessel, said vessel being inserted into-said frame with said triangular folds imprisoned between the ends of the tub member and the ends of the frame whereby the weight of material in the tub member will hold said sheet in vessel, form. The upper side edges of said tub, member are detachably secured to the upper sides of said frame.

The invention consists in the combinations and arrangements of parts hereinafter clescribed and claimed.

The. preferred form of construction as illustrated in the drawings comprises a collapsible frame made up of metal end bars 10 crossed upon each other and pivoted centrally. at 11 to each other, there being one of .50 said end members consisting of two of.sa1d

The tub member is also provided with a plurality of snap fastening elements 21 arranged along its-side edges and the up per side bars'14 of the frameare-provided with ,co-operating snap members 22 for quick detachable engagement with thesnapmembers 21 thereby detachably fastening the up per side edges ofsaid-tubmember'to said frame and preventing outward collapse of said tub member when filled with liquid.

' The triangular jfolds are provided with eyelets 22 fitting over the end fastenings 22 and held thereon by fastening 21 whereby said end folds are further held in place.
