This invention relates'to improvements side handles 18 project laterally from the in composition collins. rails. rthe structure just described forms It is onev of the objects or' the present inthe base or skeleton of the improved comvention to provide a composition casket of position cotlin. 5 attractive design and decoration which may Prior to the use of the coin, the bottom 1s be made and sold very much more cheaply made solid and air tight byvhaving` a mortar than the caskets or coilins now on the market. like material or composition packed against A further object of the invention is to the outer surface of the slats 10 between the provide a composition coliin which is pracrails 9 and outwardly ofthe rails 9, as indilo tically indestructible and which will not decatedat 111 and 15. It will thus be seen that the invention provides a unique manner of preparing a corpse for interment and that the corpse is so sealed that it will be air-tight and will be preserved Jfor a long period. Also, the coffin, being formed of an outside layer of solidified cementitous material, will be very strongand hard and will withstand the ravages of the elements and time. Also, the improved composition Collin is simple, practical and novel.
