COMBINATION HEATING- AND COOKING- STOVE.

This invention relates to new and useful improvements in combination heatlng and cooking stoves.

One object of the invention'is to provlde a readily portable stove which may be quickly and easily converted from a heating stove into a cooking stove and as easlly re turned to its normal condition.

' Another feature of the invention is to provide astove whichmay be used as a cookas a heating stove in cold weather.

Another object of the invention is to provide a stove, provided with movable parts for concealing, to a large extent, the cooking elements when it is not desired to usethe same.-

A construction designed to carry out the invention will be hereinafter described, together with other features of the invention.

The invention will be more readily understood from a reading of the following specification andby reference to the accompanying drawings, in which an example of the invention is shown and wherein:

In the drawings the numeral 10 designates a rectangular vertical stove body supported on legs and havinga transverse opening 11 in the lowerv ortion of its front wall. The opening 11 -orms the frontv of a heating chamber 12 within the stove. lThe top of this chamber is defined by a transverse par- 'and form- `ing the bottom of an oven 14. In the rear portion of the heating chamber a transverse gas burner 15Qis mounted.

It will be seen that when the panel is open the heat units will be deflected through the opening 11 and the stove utilized as la heater, but when the opening is closed by the panel will be confined in the chamber 12v and the oven 14 thus more effectively heated.

The oven is provided with a door 19 hinged on the back of the stove, as is shown in Figs. 2 and 3. The oven has a false front wall 20 spaced inwardly from the front wall of the stove so as to provide a vertical space 21 therebetween. The top wall 22 of the chamber 23 having a top 24 provided with eyes 25. Gas burners 26 are mounted in the' chamber 23 under the eyes 25. These gas burners are connected with a manifold 27 by means of cocks 29.

^ For supplying the stove with gas a T 30 is provided with a nipple 31 for connecting with a hose or other medium for conducting gas to said T.
