This nvention relates to devices for operating and locking switching apparatus, and incre particularly to such devices for use in connection with hi gh tension outdoor switch structures.

A device for Operating and looking electrcal apparat-us against nnauthorized or accidental' movement, comprising apivotnlly mounted lever, means operatively connecting said lever to the apparatns, an arcnate framc member slidably engaged by said level', locking means on said lever and notches formcd in said frame member which coact to lock the lever and apparatus in either of two positions, a'detachable Operating handle for said lover, and key means on said handle to unlock said looking means when the handle is applicd and given a turning movement.
