mounted chip rack beneath which a. slidable ash drawer is arranged.
Another object is to provide a new and novel individual poker chip set wh1ch 1s simle and com act in construction, which can be easily and conveniently transported and which can be economically manufactured.
The accom anying drawing illustrates a selected embodiment of the invention and the views are'fas follows:
Fig. 1 is a side elevation of my novel set.
Fig. 2 is a top plan view thereof.
Fig. 3 is a sectional'view on the line 3-3 of Fig. 2.
Fig. 4 is a transverse sectional view on the line 4-4 of Fig. 1.
Referring to the 'drawlngs, 5 designates a suitable base provided with an upstand1n lug 6 and an annular collar 7 which are pre era-bly made inte ral with the base. A vertical center post 8 1s mounted in the base 5 and is centrally spaced from the collar 7 to provide an annular recess 9. A plate 10 has an annular flange 11 which fits into the recess 9 and engages the post 8, Fig. 3. The lower edge of the plate rests on the top of the collar 7 at 12 to form a bearlng for the plate and permits the plate 10 to revolve about the center post 8.
The plate 10 may be cut away at 13, Fig. 2, to provide easy access for the removal of the chips 14. Upstanding lugs 15 are arranged about the periphery of the plate to space the stacks of chips from the plate to permit easy removal of the chips, and to strengthen the ost's 16 rigidly mounted on the plate 10. he posts 16 are e ually spaced relatlve to each other and to t e center post 8 to form compartments for the reception of the chips 14. Chips are stacked one upon the other within two of the posts 16 and the center post 8, as shown in Figs. 1 and 3, and rest upon the lugs 15, Fig. 1. The chips of any stack may be taken from the top of the stack in an easy and convenient manner. The center post 8 maybe provided with a cap 17 which may be screw threaded as shown or made inte ral with the post.
A circu ar ash drawer 18 provided w1th a rim or u standin collar 19 has an elongated U-shape slot 20 ormd therein which is surrounded by an upstanding flan e 21 of the same height as the collar 19 an forming a guide for the drawer relative to the post 8 when the drawer is slid into the base 5 and the plate 10. T e slot 20' is of sufiicient length so that when the tray is in closed position the periphery thereof will be flush with the periphery of the base 5 and the late 10. The drawer is provided with aurled knob 22 one line with the center of the slot 20 for sliding the drawer into and out of osition as required. The drawer is guided y the post 8 so that it will not move laterally on the base. i
The base may be provided with tabs 23 or other members, preferably made of rubber or felt, to prevent the set from scratching or otherwise marring the table upon which the set stands.
The invention provides a compact and simle device for individual use for receiving a arge number of chips, and also permits free access to the ash drawer. I
Changes may be made in the form, construction and arrangement'of the parts without departing from the spirit or scope of the invention or sacrificing any of the advantages thereof, and I reserve the right to make all such changes as fairly fall within the scope of the following claims:
I claim:
1. An individual poker chip set comprising a base, a post embedded in said base, a plate spaced from said base and revolubly mounted relative to said post, posts spaced about the periphery of said plate and forming compartments to receive chips, and an ash drawer arranged between said base and plate.
2. An individual poker chip set comprising .a base, a post embedded in said base, a plate spaced from said base and revolubly mounted relative to said post, posts spaced about the periphery of said plate and forming compartments to receive chips, and an ash drawer arranged between said base and plate, and means for guiding said drawer and preventing lateral movement thereof. J
lace between 3. Anindividual poker chip set comprissaid slot, a handle on said drawer, and means i on said base and engaged by said slot for guiding said drawer an preventing lateral movement thereof.

5. An individual poker chip set comprising a base, a plate levolubly supported by said base, a vertical center p'ost extending through said plate and connected with said base, posts spaced about the periphery of said late and integral therewith, an ash drawer lielow said plate and slidable on said base, means for guiding said drawer and preventing lateral movement thereof, and a handle connected to said drawer.
6. An individual poker chip set comprisin a base, an annular collar integral with I said base, a plate above said base, a collar on said plate and fitting within the collar on the base to-provide revoluble movement of the plate, a center post extending throu h said plate and embedded in said base, a p urality of posts integral with said plate and spaced about the periphery thereof, and an ash drawer slidably mounted on said base and arranged below said late.
7. An individua poker chip set comprising a base, an annu ar collar integral with said base, a vertical post spaced from the walls of said collar and connected to said base, an annular collar arranged between said collar and the post, a plate integral with said collar, a plurality of posts equall spaced about the periphery of said plate to orin chip compartments, an ash drawer having a rim and slidable between said base and plate and provided with a slot whereb the drawer may be guided relative to sai annular collar, a flange about said slot the same height as the rim and a knob fixed to said drawer.
