A condenser of the class described comprising a plurality of stator plate units arranged in juxtaposition and spaced relation, said units being triangular in form, a plurality of movable plate units mounted for cooperation with said stator plate units, said movable plate units having triangular plates adapted to operate between the plates of the stator units, said movable plate units being pivoted at one corner portion thereof and being swung bodily toward and from the stator plate units, and means for simultaneously operating all of the movable plate units.

A condenser of lthe class described comprising a condenser frame, a plurality of independent condenser units mounted in said frame side by side and in spaced relation, the inner ends of the stator plates of said units being adjacent centrally of said frame, the movable plates of said units being adapted to move into and out of said frame in the operation thereof, an operating member arranged at one side of said condenser units, and with lwhich the movable plates of the separate units are coupled wherebythe movable plates of all of the units are simultaneously operated by said member with reference to the stator plates of said units.

A condenser of the class described comprising a condenser frame, a plurality of independent condenser units mounted in said frame side by side and in spaced relation the inner ends of the stator plates of said units being adjacent centrally of said frame, the movable plates of said units being adapted to move into and out of said frame in the operation thereof, an operating member arranged ateone side of said condenser units and with which the movable plates o the separate units are coupled whereby the movable plates of all of the units are simultaneously operated by said member with reference to the stator plates of said units` and means for actuating said member, said means comprising gears and a knob.
