COMPOSITION OF MATTER.

The invention is a filler of a soft putty consistency, and is designed to be used in connection with the application of cane fibre Wall board, such as, and including, the Wall 6 board known as Celotex, ZLIlClthlS lnvention is particularly for the purpose of filling the joints and covering the nail heads of the said wall board inWalls and ceilings of buildings. The invention is designed, by its application 10 in the joints, to make a one-piece Wall orceiling so that the joints Will have the appearance of the Wall board itself, and if necessary the Walls can be left either unpainted orcovered With any solution or coating in the Way of paint or decorative Wall covering- The formula for preparing this composition is as follows: 7
Prepare a soap elly by adding three ounces of White hard soap such as castile soap to two quarts of Water and heating near the boiling temperature till the soap dissolves.
Also prepare a starch deXtrin paste adding 100 g. of cold Water to a mixture of 80 g. starch and 20 g. powdered White dextrin. Stir to a paste. Then add a solution of 20 g. borax and 40 g. glycerine in 700 g. of boiling water to the cold Waterpaste and While the boiling liquid is being added stir the mixture Add t g.
