At points opposite the hinge loops, the intermediate members are'shown provided with lugs 30' cut from the sides of the same at 31 end bent outward into position. tor snapping engagement with the retaining lugs 23 on the bezels. :The'seats for the cosmetic trays provide anyopening extending entirely. through the intermediatebody or holder so that if one tray should stick, it may be forced out from the inside after first removing the other tray. Y What is claimed is: '1. A vanity case comprising a two-part body member, each part having, av dish shaped ortion and'a rim forming an annular c annel therebetween, one of said 7 parts having a bead secured to its rim and engaged over the rim of the other part, each part having a stri struck out across said channel joining sai dish shaped portion and rim to form a hinge loop, and cover sections cooperating with said loops.

2. A van ty case comprising a body member having hinge loops in the edge portion of the same, covers at op osite sides'of the body member having fol ed edges forming flanges recessed to receive said oops, hinge wires extended through the loops and engaged beneath the flanges of said covers and ezels engaged in the covers beneath the flanges and covering the hinge wires.

3. A vanity case comprising a body member haying hinge loops in the edge portion of theisame, covers at op osite sides of the body member having fol ed edges forming flanges recessed to receive said loops, annular hinge wires extended through the loops and engaged beneath the flanges of said covers and bezels engaged in the covers beneath the flanges and covering the hinge wires, the covers having beads beneath the flanges and behind the bezels forming annular seats for the hinge wires.

, 4. A vanity case comprising an intermediate holder and covers hinged to oppg'site sides of the same, said covers having aded edges and the holder having a beaded edge intermediate and adjoining said firstbeaded edges when said case is in closed position.

5. A vanity case com risin an intermediate holder and covers in ed to o posite sides of the same, said covers aving eaded edges and the holder having a beaded edge intermediate and adjoining the beaded edges of the covers, clasps for the two covers and finger holds oni'said covers adjoining the intermediate head for facilitating the separate opening of the respective covers.

A vanity case comprising a body member having hinge loops in the edge portion of the same, covers at o osite sides of the body member having fo ed edges recessed to receive said loops, hinge wires extended through the loops and engaged beneath the flanges of said covers and bezels engaged in the covers beneath the flanges and covering the hinge wires, the covers having beads beneath the flanges and behind the bezels formin annular seats for the hinge wires, the sa1d body member consisting of two parts held together by. the projecting bead on said member. v

7. A vanity case comprising cupped members, one provided with a flange engaged over the rim of the other, said members having seats for cosmetic holders and covers hingedly connected to the respective memers.

8. A vanity case comprisin cupped members, one provided with a flange engaged over the rim of the other, said members having seats for cosmetic holders and covers over the respective members, each of said members having a clasp element and the covers having co-acting clasp elements cooperating therewith.

9. A-vanity case comprising dished members secured in face to face relation and havin openings providing seats for cosmetic ho ders, said dished members having hinge loops in edge portions of the same and outstruck lugs substantially op osite said hinge loops, covers held by said inge loops and catches on the covers for engagement by the outstruck lugs.

10. A vanity case comprising a body member, a cover hinged thereto, an article in said cover, a bezel ring engaged in said cover to hold said article in place, and cooperating catches on said bod member and on sai bezel ring to hold said cover shut.

11. A vanity case comprising a body member having hinge loops on opposite sides of the same, covers for engagement over opposite sides of said body member having edge flanges interrupted to receive the hinge s and bin wires extending through sai loops an spring beneath the edge flanges of the covers.

A vanity case comprising a body member having hinge loops on opposite" sides of the same, covers for en agement over opposite sides of said b0 y member having edge flanges interrupted .to receive the hinge loops, hinge wires extending through said loops and sprun beneath the edge flanges of the covers and zels engaged in the covers over said hinge wires.

M. A vanity case comprising a two-part body member, one part having a rim, the

other part having a head, said parts being held together by the head on one part engaged over the rim of the other part,'said two parts having openings therein, cosmetic trays seated in said openings, hinge loops on said body parts, covers having edge flanges interrupted to talre such hinge loops, hinge wires extending through said loops and engaged beneath said flanges, bezels seated in the covers beneath the flanges and sgiparate catches for the two covers consisting o lugs on the body parts and cooperating lugs on the bezels.

A vanity case comprising a two-part body member, one part having a rim, the other part having a head, said parts being held together by a head on one part engaged over the rim of the other part, said two parts having openings therein, cosmetic trays seated in said openings, hinge loops on said body arts, covers having edge flanges interrupted to take such hinge loops, hinge wires extending through said loops and engaged beneath said flan es, bezels seated in the covers beneath the flanges and separate catches tor the two covers and lugs turnd out of the e flanges ot the covers to provide flngered holds tor releasing the catches.

A vanity case comprising a body member rovided with a hinge loop, a cover member aving an inturned flange at the edge ot the same interrupted to receive the hinge loop, an article holding bezel seated in the cover beneath the flange and recessed at one edge for the hinge loop and a hinge wire extending through the loop beneath the cover flange and behind the bezel.

A vanity case comprising a body member provided with a hinge loop, a cover memthe same interrupted to receive the hin e loop, an article holding bezel seated in the cover beneath the flange and recessed at one edge for the bin e loop, a hinge wire extending through the cop beneath the cover flange tit and behind the bezel, a catch lug on the bezel at a point substantially opposite the recess therein and a cooperatmg catch on the body member,

18. A vanity case comprising an intermediate holder and covers at the opposite sides of the same, said covers having beaded edges and the holder having an intermediate bead projecting beyond and adjoining the cover beads.

A vanity case comprising an intermediate holder and covers at the opposite sides oi the same, said covers having beaded edges and the holder having an intermediate bead projecting beyond the cover beads and li s projecting beyond the beads ot the covers 1n opposition to the projecting intermediate head for facilitating opening of the two covers.
