This invention relates to new and useful improvements in reflectors and has forets primary object to provide a slowly rotating multi-mirrored reliector especially useful in show windows of lbusiness houses for displaying signs or other articles of merchanso as to attract the attention Vof passers-by to articles within the window. f
.Incarrying out my invention l provide a rotating reflector unit `within which may be disposed a source of illumination covered by a multi-colored lens shield, or in lieu thereof an article tray for providing in the'y first instance a highly novel and beautiful light display, or in the second instance the multi- 'reflection of thearticles upon the tray. l'n

Arranged vertically upon the supporting pla-te 6 ofthe reflector base'invertica'l valignmentwiththe lamp 28 and cord 27 is a tubular shaft housing 29. Within this housing 29 is a vertical shaft 30,the. lowerv end of which projects through an opening in theV plate 6 and is equipped with a cord pulley 31; Adapted for removable disposition upon 1 the upper end ofthe housing 29 andfor operative connection with the upper end'ofthe shaft 30 is a generallyl barrel shaped. lamp *shield 32,YK Figure 2 oran article supportfing tray 33, see Figure 6. Then the tray 33 isemployed, it' is preferable that the lamp-28 land its associated cord 27 and switch socket 26 be removed.V However, the barrel lshaped shield 32 isi-of such construction as to permit of thel disposition ofifthelamp 28 Vtherein as clearly'disclosed in Figure 2. This shield is provided with a plurality of bull eyey lenses 84. preferably ot vRigidly arranged uponthe shaft` 17 ben tween the reflector 18 andgear 25. is a. large cordpulley 35 over which is trained an endless c'ord 36 that extends downwardly and is passed through openings in the plate 6 and thencepver pulleys 37-37. fThe runs of the cord'are thence directed 'forwardly as in Figure 2 and trained over the pulley 31 of .the shaft 30. Thus the rotation of the shaft Keyed to this shaft 17 in frontz'ofA 19 not. only causes the turning of the reflector 16, but also the vertical shaftv 30 and consequently the lamp shield 32 or the article supportingtrap 3S as the case may be.
Also removably associated with the upper endo'f the shaft Vholfising 29 beneath the shield 32 or tray 33 is an L-shaped bracket 38,'ihe' outer end of the horizontal arm of which is detachably secured to the shaft housing 29,"while the outer kend of the vertical erin is supported by the inner end` of the horizontal motor loperated shaft 17. In slight inward spaced' rela-tion with the vertical'arni of this bracket is a vertical pin` 39 over which is disposed a vertical sleeve 46' associated with an ornan'iental' lampl box fel-1 that may be arranged over the multi-lens shield 82 for displaying interesting characters cutor otherwise formed therein as disclosed'. This lamp box is employed vwhen the sign plate '-15 has been removed so that'the characters will 'be' readily Yobserved bothV direct4 and indirect as is obvious.

Having thus described the inventin. what I claim as new is 1. A device of the class described comprising a base having an opening, a platform hingedly mounted in the opening, means for Nholding the platform in different tilted positions, a supportin structure rising from the platform, a regector, means for rotatably mounting the relector on the supporting structure, a standard rising from the platform, a multi-lens shieldk rotatably mounted on the standard inv front of the center of the reflector', a stationary electric bulb in the shield, and means for simultaneously rotating the reflector about itsaXis and the shield about the electric bulb.`
2. In a device of the character described, a cylindrical housing, a shaftcoincident with the axis 'of the housing, means for su`pporting the shaft, a reiiector mounted for rotation about the shaft Within the housing,
a stationary electric lamp arranged Within the housing at the center ot the reflector, a
rotating multi-lens shieldy disposed around said lamp, a standard for rotatably mount ing the multi -lens shield, said standard being disposed radially of the housing and per-' `having its end engaged thereon, a pin disposed perpen dicularly on the first-mentioned arm of theL-shaped bracket, an ornamental lamp box having a sleeve disposed over the pin so that the lamp box Will surround the multi-lens shield, and means forfacilitating the simultaneous rotation of the reflector and shield.
