This invention relates to toys and more particularly to a device capable of emitting 'a musical sound.

One of the objects of the invention is to provide a wind instrument by which the call of a well known bird maybe reproduced.

Another object is in the provision of an appliance from which children may derive end piece 6.

much enjoyment and amusement. v A further aim is to provide a device having means whereby a. double intermittent tone may be produced. r

. A still further characteristic is in the provision of a toy having comparatively few and simple parts and which therefore'can be manufactured at a relatively low cost. 3

These several objects are accomplished by the novel construction, combination and arrangement of parts, hereinafter described and illustrated in the accompanying draw ing, forming a component of this disclosure,

simple and efiicient device has been disclosed that is capable of affording much amusement to children, and which is cheaplyand easily I manufactured.

Although the foregoing is descriptive of the preferred embodiment of the invention, it will be apparent that minor changes may bemade in its construction, without theexercise of invention or conflicting with the scope of the claims hereto appended.
