IMPROVEMENT IN FURNlTURE-CASTERS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 164,225, dated June 8, 1875 application filed January 31, 1874.

To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, GEVEDRA B. SHELDON, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Casters; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing forming a part of this specification.
This invention has reference to the construction of casters for household furniture; and consists in the construction of the horn of a single piece of sheet metal with a rolled eye, as hereinafter more fully described.
In the drawing, Figure 1 represents the caster attached to the leg, Fig. 2, a horizontal section.
a is the horn of the caster b, the wheel or roller; 0, the swivel-pin; d, a collar or plate on the top of the horn, on which the frictionballs roll; and e, the flange-plate on the caster-pin, which confines the balls.
