The commonly used "envelopes are [generally made of'paper and.only-those designedfor storing valuables are made of canvas. Envelopes of the former type'can be used only once whereby the expenses :of bigger firms are considerably increased. v
This invention relates to an envelope struction by the fact that it can be used repeatedly and that the contents' of the same i are well protected againstfbeing creased and] against unlawful removal; This object is attained by making the envelopes from by a removable element.
Three embodiments of the invention shown'by way'of example on theaccompany-j I ing. drawing, wherein:
' showing the preferred form ofconstruction;
Fig. 1 shows 1n elevatlona window-'envelope. Fig.2 is-a section on line III of Fig. 1,
Fig. 3 shows in front elevation, and g 3 Fig. .4 shows in rear view an'envelope of the second form of construction;
s Fig. 5 is a sidejelevatio'mand Fig. 6 is a section on line .11 II-i of Fig.
' 5 showing a third form of construction,
According to the first form of'construction (Figs. '1 and '2 the envelope consists of a sheet of aluminium foil folded to form a "pocket having a front wall 1 and a rear wall 2. The front wall 1 has at both sides flaps 3 which-are folded over and rigidly fixed on the rear wall, for instance by pressing or,
' denting. ,The' front'wall and therear wall a have each slits 4. in proximity to the upper en side of the envelope through which slits passes thetape 5. This tape is of paper and its ends are glued together on the back of the envelope. Thefront wall has a transparent window as usual through which i the address can be read which is writtenon theletter enclosed in the envelope. The
windowfi consists of anaperturewhich may be closed by transparent paper.
To openthe envelopethe paper tape-5is simplydestroyed and for'sealing an envelope 7 a tape is insertedjthrough the slits 4 the ends of the tape being glued together on the back ofthe envelope. 1 H J.

The enveglopeof aluminium -foil"composed of a front I wall 1* and "rearfwall 2 connected by flaps 3 I has near itsupper open edge several holes 11 5 f a arranged. at fconvenient distances apart through which a string 12 is twined. The 1 ends of the string 12 aresecurely connected by a seal l3f'so that it is impossible to open the envelope withoutjdestroyingthe seal or'f 1 cutting thejstring,
At the open edge oftheenvelopeflaps could further be. arranged which have to be securely connected one with the other by leadlseals whereby the safety of. the enve-,
