Another object of theA invention resides inl the provision of a spark plug designed to facilitate priming of the 'engine in cold weather, and one wherein the electrodes can be viewed without removing the plug from the engine, or without stopping the engine, when it is desired to know whether or not the plug is operating properly.
`Other objects and advantages of the invention will be better understood when the following` detailed description is read in connection with the accompanying drawing, the invention residing in the construction, combination and arrangement of parts as claimed.

The-spark plug forming the subject matter of the present invention is patterned after a pet cock of well known construction, and includes a tapered body portion 10 which is formed with depending hollow boss 11 into which is threaded the adjacent end of a nipple 12 as shown in Figure 1. This nipple is formed with a flange 13, preferably of the outline shown in Figure 7 and which engages the boss 11 when the nipple is properly associated with the latter. The nipple 12 is of course threaded for Vproper association with the spark plug opening of the engine with which' it is intended to be used.
