Thesupport is of. the extensible, knockdown foldabletype adapting it readily for use with various lengths of receptacles and proi iding for. a compact arrai'igeinent of parts for. packing, storing and shipping the device. The primary object of the invention is the provision of a device of thischaracter which is comparativelyinexpensive in cost of productiomsimple in construction in order that it may with facility be assembled foruse, or its parts dissociated for shipping t r n du a le a d ri -e s ab and convenient supporting frame for articles suspended therein.

The parts constituting the supporting frame are preferably composed of suitable lengths of pipes or rods of the desired or required dimensions, and the base of the frame includes a pair of spaced cross bars as 1 and 2 each provided with a pair of legs as 3 and 4 bent downwardly at right angles from the cross bars, and provided with feet 5.

screw 8 in the former section and adapted to. frictionally engage the latter section as usual.

The cross bars and longitudinal bars 'pr ovide a rigid frame structure for the upright posts 9 and 10 which rise therefrom, and the posts, attheir upper ends are provided with suspending hooks 11 between which a basket 12 or other receptacle may befsuspended by utilizing the handles 13, at the iesppctive ends of the basket; to engage these the lower end of the post a bushing la is threaded andas seen in Fig. 3 the bushingis fashioned-with a wedge shaped flange 15 extending laterallytherefrom and 7 provided with a transverse groove 16 in the upper face of the flange, said groove being adapted to be engaged by a fastening ring 17.

On the outer end of the telescoping bar 6 is secured a bushing 28 of the type shown in Fig. 3 and fashioned with a wedge flange 29 and a perforated lug 30 the latter for coaction with the ears 26. A complementary bushing 31 is secured at the outer end of the telescoping section 7 having a wedge flange 32 and perforated lug 33, the latter also co-acting with apair of perforated ears 26 on sleeve 24.

The fastening ring 34: similar to ring 22 is employed to join the parts at the joint of post 9 and cross bar 1.

Thus it will be apparent that the parts are standardized to utilize a pair of post bushings, a pair of base bushings on the ends of the telescoping members, and a pair of sleeves on the cross bars, said bushings and sleeves respectively being of duplicate construction. the fastening rings 17 end 22 are also of duplicate construction. This staindnrdizzition of parts renders the assembly of parts a simple matter, without the necessity for use of tools, and without the necessity for skilled lnhor.

Having thus fully described my invention, what I claim as nev and desire to secure by Letters Patent is l. A supporting frame comprising a pair of cross bars, :1 longitudinal eol'inecting liar, and upright posts supported from said cross bars, a joint-sleeve on each cross 'ar, complementnry joint hushings on adjoining ends of said posts and connecting her, each joint sleeve having pivot-ally connected to it one of said connecting-bar bushings and one of said post bushings and means at each end of the longitudinal bar for releasably loching the longitudinnl her, one of said. posts,

A supporting frame comprising a pair of cross bars with supporting feet, a telescoping connecting hair, and upright posts having su-s 'iending means thereon, a pair oi? adjustable joint sleeves on the cross hers and securing means therefor, a pair of jointhushings on the posts and a pair of jointhnshings on the colmeeting bar, and means :l'or releasnhly locking together eaeh sleeve with a pair of joint-bushings.
