This metal ribbon or strip 2 from which the holder is formed is punched out along the dotted lines 3, to form fingers 4: which are here shown in the shape of arrow heads and which are designed to be bent laterally outward to rest on the edge of a container here shown in the form of a bowl B. After these portions are struck out of the strip 2 it is corrugated as shown at 5 which is preferably done by passing it the holder forms between. it 7 walls of the'bowl pockets 6 toreceive'and departing from the spiritof the invention.-

1 I claim A flower holder including alength of corrugated metal, .thev ends of said length of corrugated metal adapted to overlap each other, the corrugations of one end lying within the corrugations of the overlapped end, upwardly and outwardly extended fins gers formed integral with the length of metal, said fingers adapted to overlie the upper edge of a receptacle to secure the flower holder within the receptacle.
' In testimony that I claim the foregoing asmy own, I have hereto affixedmy signature.
