The fountain is prepared for use by inverting the inner receptacle as shown by Figure 3, pouring water into its open bottom, now uppermost, inverting the outer receptacle, placing it onthe inverted inner receptacle until the open end, or top I of the outer receptacle bears on the head flange 17 and finally turningthe fountain to'the operative position shown by Figures 1 and 4.
It will be seenthat thetwo cylindrical bodies 12 and 16, may be quickly and cheaply formed, and provided respectively with the bottom 13 and head 17 by suitablemachincry, and that the operations of forming the opening 14 and the boss 16 may also be quickly and cheaply performed, so that the cost of labor and'material is reduced to a minimum.
