hp ii a ieifii ii m a a2 s i 1. p; Ba e is to provide adetachable plow point where- 10 in the body portion therefor is adapted to be adjustably secured on the lower end of the plow stock or standard, the body portion being'provided withan undercut for receiving the upper portion of the plow point whereby the latter is held in proper position on the body portion.

A further object is to provide a detachable plow point of the above mentioned character which is simple in construction, inexpensive, and further adapted to the purposes for which the same is designated.

Other objects and advantages of this in vention will become apparent during the course of the following description- In the accompanying drawing forming part of this specification, and in which'like numerals are employed to designate like parts throughout the same:

The simplicity'in which my improvedde-" vice is constructed enables the parts to :be readily assembled and furthermore the plow point gwill at all times be maintained in proper position on the body portion when the device is in use. 1 VVhileI have shown the preferred embodiment of my invention, it is to be understood that various changes in the size, shape and arrangement of parts may be resorted to without departing from the spirit or sacrificing any of the "advantages of the appended V claimr Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new 1s;;-.

In a plow, the combination of a plow stock, a plow body portion having a longitudinal slot formed therein whereby the same may be adjustably secured on thelower portion of the plow stock the lower portion of said body portion having its front. face cut away, an undercut provided at the juncture of the cut away portion and said body portion,a plow point having its upper portion adapted 10 to fit against thecut away portion of the body portion and being of substantially the" same thickness of the "cut away front face of the body portion, the upper edge of the plow point being beveled to cooperate with vidod'with registering openings, and securlng bolts extending therethrough.
