IMPROVEMENT IN ATTACHMENTS FOR INJECTORS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 1 59,587, dated February 9, 1875; application filed October 10, 1874.

Be it known that I, DAVID LEES, of Birmingham, in the county of Huntingdon and State of Pennsylvania, have invented an Improved Attachment for Injectors for Steam- Boilers, of which the following is a specification:
The invention will first be fully described, and then pointed out in the claim. V
In the sectional elevation of drawing is shown the well-known ejector, having nozzle A and overflow B, together with the checkvalve G, (in the pipe that leads to boiler.) Between this valve and nozzle A, I have introduced a lateral tube, D, in which is placed a valve, E, held inwardly and away from its seat by a spring,F, until the pressure of steam injectors, the inwardly-opening spring-pressed valve E, in combination with the outwardlyopening valve G, as and for the purpose specified.
