While the construction seen in, Figures 6 and 7 may be a little more expensive to manufacture and assemble, than the construction seen in Figs. 1 to 5, -it is a substantial equivalent thereof as will be apparent". l

In a device of the character stated, a rigid elongated handle of insulating mate- 1rial having a front flat end and a front terminal liange forming a rear shoulder, said handle being bored longitudinally to receive an electric cord, a flat bottomed attachment plug member in contact with the front flat end of said handle, and a locking ring having a front inwardly deflected peripheral. flange in fixed engagement with the front of said plug member, and a rear inwardly de fieeted peripheral ilange in fixed engagement with the shoulder oi said handle. v
3. In a device of thefcharacter stated, a
.rigid elongated ,handle member having a terminal shoulder at an end thereof, said handle member being bored longitudinally to receive an electric cord, an attachment er having an' opening therthrough in operative alignment with the bore of saidhandle member for receiving the end of an electric cord, and a metallic tubular member surrounding said end of 'said handle member and said ylug member having a front terminal andJ inwardly extending peripheral flange in engagement with the front end of said plug member and having a rear terminal and inwardly extending peripheral flange in engagement with the shoulder of said handle member.
