i DENTAL UNIT. 1
My invention relates to dental units of the H type disclosed in Patent #1,376,356,. issued .April 26, 1921, to Oscar H. Pieper' and Al phonse F. Pieper, the object "being to pro? Videfimproved means for enabling' the in j strumeut holder or shelf to be readily ex:
tended and positioned-away"from its sup: porting pedestal in order to increase the range and facility of use of the various tools .andappliances supported on the shelf and connected through flexible cords with the Various supply sources, such as for gas, electric power. and air.- The invention contelnplates a jointedsupportingstructure for the instrument'shelfl which structure will normally securely hold the shelf on the pedestal top and which 'will permit the shelfto be raised and to be swung forwardly of the pedestal and thenlaterally to bring the instruments into. convenient position forthe drawihgs- On the r Fig. fl is a side elevational yiewfofthe upper end of the dental unit with'partof the pedestal andethe shelf structurein sec tion;- v Fig. 21s a sectional ylewonplane 2 2 twig-1; and, p
