MULTIPLE OPERATING VALVE.

To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, a citizen .o'fthe United States, and resident of Pittsburgh, in the county ofAllegheny and Stateof Pennsylvania, have inventeda new and useful Improvement inMultiple Operating Valves; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, andexafct description thereof.
My invention relates to apparatus for operating hydraulic valves controlled from adistance in filtration or other plants where a device of this kind is applicable.
The present form of apparatus generally employed consists of a large, expensive table usually provided with a marble top on which the "operating-handles which connect pressure to each four-way valve,

In the operation of the device, the main lever 16 is rotated to the point indicating the valvefthat it is desired to operate, thus 1 bringing the ports 17 and 18 of the valves 6 and 7 over the corresponding openings 19 and 20 leading to the top and bottom of s the hydraulic cylinder of the valve to be operated.
If it is desired to open the gate-valve 26, the handle of the drain valve is positioned as shown in Fig. 4, so that its notch is atopen" position, while the pressure valve moved 180 from the positon shown in said figure, until its notch is at open position. I claim as my invention:
1. Valve structure c inprising a valv casing having a pair of valve chambers therein, a plurality of annularly arranged ports in an'end wall of each of said chant hers, alluid pressure port and a drain port in the side wall of each of said chainhers,a rotatable valve disc fitting against the end wall of each of the chambers and having a port positioned to register with said annularly disposed ports sucessively, each of the annularly arranged ports in one chamber having paired relation with the port in the other chamber, means for rotating said discs in definite relative relation, a source of fluid pressure, a valve for eflect-ing coinunication between said source and said pressure ports selectively, and a valve for opening and closing said drain ports selectively, means disposed exteriorly of the casing, for rotating said disc, and means disposed exteriorly of the casing 'for operating said valves. s
2. Valve I structure comprising a valve casing having a pair of valve chambers therein, a plurality of annularly arranged ports in an end wall of each of said chambers, a luid pressure port and a drain port in the side wall of each of said chambers, a rotatable valve disc fitting against the end wall of each of the chambers and having a port positioned to register with said an nularly disposed ports successively, each of the annularly arranged ports in one chamber having paired relation with a port in the other chainber, means for rotating said discs in definite relative relation, asource of fluid pressure, a valve for effecting co1nniunication between said source and said pressure ports selectively, and a valve for opening and closing said drain ports selectively, the said disc rotating means and the said valves being connected, to operating handles that are mounted upon the top of the casing.
