. new and useful Improvements in Blind-Fasts 5 and I do herebydeclare the following to be a iull, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as ywill enable others skilled in the art t0 which it pertains to make and use it, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, which ,form part of this specication.4
The nature of my invention consists in arranging a double-sided hook, in connection with a rod or arm bent to form a lever-end, the extremity of whichis enlarged to form a weight, in such a manner that it will, when properly adjusted, hook a blind to a back without the employment of a spring of any kind, making an effective fast at a very small cost.
Figure l represents a top or vertical View of the fast, the dotted lines representing the lower rail of the blind, to which it is secured. Fig. 2 is an end view of the double-sided hook or head-piece; and Fig. 3 is an edge view of the caps or boxes,by which the fast is secured by suitable screws to the blind.
