To all w kom it may concerns Be it known that 1, Julius COURTIER, citi- *zen ofthe Republic of France, of 20 Rue 1 Ernest C'resson, Paris, France, have invented Restorer of Normal' Ignition for Dual-' Ignition Apparatus of Internal-Combustion Engines, of which the following is a full, clear and exact description.
This invention relates to an auxiliary ap-' paratus for internal combustion engines hav ing dual ignition forproducing rcgulable into .a plurality of contacts 34, 34, 34",
breaksparks foridoing away with niisfires due to the sooting of sparking plugs and automatically cleaningthese plugs during the running of the engines and of the vehicles driven by them.
This invention over applicants copending application 654879 filed July 31, 192cm that it permits of normal ignition in a circuit fed by one source, while at the same time permit- I ting the introduction of a seriesof avariable number of breaking sparks in another circuit fed by another current sdurce. The present improvement also has a circle divided into two conductive segments and two series of separatecontacts, said circle being controlled by the operating handle assing under the pair's-of fixed K1 rangement is independent of the 'magneto which latter is combined with" the earlier construction.
This apparatus permits a single controlling organ to efi'ect the introduction of break sparks regulable at will, separately into one or the other of two ignition circuits. ' The operation of the device is as follows:

For restoring the ignition of the fouled sparking plugs and for cleaning the same, if the-misfires are produced in the ignition circuit M the handle 26. is, moved in the direction of the arrow a.
