The combination with a golf club, of means'for indicating the swing of the golf club and notifying the errors in the travel of said swing, comprising a flexible directing cord or the like anchored at both ends, an arm parallel with the golf club head provided with an adjustable arm at right angles thereto, having a series of orifices therein adapted to individually receive therethrough said flexible directing means, and means on the golf club shank for adjustably supporting said spaced arm.

5. Means of the character described comprising, in combination with a golf club, supporting means carried by the club, an adjustable arm, with orifices therein, on said supporting means and at right angles to the club head, and flexible directing means, anchored at both ends, adapted to extend through each of said orifices, whereby the travel of the club, when swung, is accurately indicated.
