I claim as my invention:

In construction for push buttons and the like, in combination, a supporting block formed of insulating material: a flat spring mounted upon sai block, said spring having an end portion resting against an upper part of said block and adjacenhone end thereof, a substantially loop-shaped portion extending from said end portion downwardly below the plane of the upper part of said block and thence upwardly, said spring being thereupon extended into an operative portion overlapping but spaced from the upper part of said lock; and contact means upon said member with which said operative portion of said flat spring may coact to form an electrical connection. 8. In construction for pus buttons and the like, in combination, a supporting block formed of insulating material and having a portion cut away at one end; a screw passsaid block and adapted to permit connection thereto of a conductor; a fiat spring bent substantially upon itself to lilll provide an end portion resting against an a of insulating material; a flat spring associated therewith and passing twice through said member, and having a portion overlapping said member; and contact means mounted upon said member and adapted to coact with said overlapping portion of said spring to form an electrical connection.

In construction for push buttons and the like, in combination, an insulating supporting block having a pair of spaced screws passing therethrough and having an aperture adjacent one of said screws; anda spring member having an end portion resting against an upper part of said block, said member being shaped to pass downwardly through said aperture, thence up wardly to form an operative end portion overlapping said block for coaction with one of said screws, said block being cut away to permit the upwardly extending portion of said spring to pass into overlapping relation relative to said block and one of said screws.

In construction for push buttons and thelike, in combination, a casing adapted to rest against the surface of a wall; an insulatin' block having mounted thereon a projecting contact member; means mounting said insulating block within said casing but spaced from the plane of the surface of said wall and with said contact member extending inwardly with respect to said casing; and a spring member associated with said insulating block for coaction with said contact member. said spring member being shaped to provide a free operative end portion overlapping the inner face of said block and also said contact member, and a looped portion extending into the space between the outer face of said block and the plane of the surface of said wall.

In construction for push buttons and the like, in combination, a casing; an in.- sulating block having mounted theieon a projcctin contact member; means mounting said insulating block within said casing and with said contact member extending inwardly with respect to said casing; and a spring for coaction with said contact member having an end portion relativel fixed with respect to said insulating bloc said spring being shaped to provide a free operative end overlapping the inner face of said block for coaction with said contact mem her and a substantially loop-shaped portion extending outwardly with respect to said casing and beyond the plane of the inner face of said insulating block.

In construction for push buttons and the like, in combination, a sheet-metal supporting member having downwardly extending and laterally spaced portions of arcuate shape, an inner device car ing connecting mechanism and provided with end portions of arcuate shape adapted to be fitted betwusn said spaced portions of said sup orting member, means independent of said inncr device for mounting said supporting member on a wall, and a shoulder in each of said spaced arcuate portions of said sheetmetal member pressed inwardly toward said arcuate end portions of said second member for limitin relative rotational movement between sai two members.

In construction for push buttons and the like, in combination, a casing; a platelike substantially rectangularly shaped insulating member having a; air of screws threaded therethrough and fi'om the outer face thereof, said screws being adapted to have removably connected to their outer ends a pair of conductors; means associated with said casing and providing a. supporting led e adjacent the lower end of said casing, sai led e having an interruption therein to permit-t e insertion therethrough and into said casing of said plate-like member and to permit, u on a subsequent rotary movement of said p ate-like member to swing an end portion of the latter onto said supporting ledge; and contact-making mechanism interposed between the upper end of said casing and said plate member for coaction with the inner end of one of said screws.

In construction for push buttons and the like, in combination, a casing; a platelike insulating member of substantially rectangular shape having a pair of screws threaded therethrough and from the outer face thereof, said screws being adapted to have removably connected to their outer ends a pair of conductors; and a sheet-metal supporting member extending transversely of said casing and secured thereto, said supporting member being arranged to support said insulating member substantially intermediate the upper and lower ends of said casing and having a pair of spaced depending portions between and by which two opposite ends of said rectangularly shaped insulating member are en and held.

In construction for push buttons and threaded therethrough and from the outer face thereof, saidscrews being adapted to have removably connected to their outer ends a. pair of conductors; a sheet-metal supporting member extending transversely of said casing and secured thereto, said supporting member being arranged to support said insulating member substantially intermediate the upper and lower ends of said casing and having a pair of spaced depending portions between and by which two opposite ends of said rectangularly shaped insulating member are engaged and held; and a spring bentto form. an operative portion overlappin one of said'screws and an intermediate 'ntiall loop-shaped portion passing twice throng the plane of one face of said insulating member.
