IMPRovEMENT IN SAW-SETS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 151,266, dated May 26, 1874; application filed March 14, 1974.
To all whom yit may concern:
Be it known that I, SYLVANUs BARTLETT, of VeStpOrt, in the county of Cheshire and State of N ew Hampshire, have invented a new and Improved Saw-Set, of which the following is a specification:

The invention will first be fully described and then pointed out in the claim.
In the drawing, A represents a saw-set of the usual sha-pe and material, whose anvil part B is provided with a tapering bottom extension, B1, for being iirmly set into a vise, and also with a forward-exteinlin g guide-bar, B2. rlhe pivoted hammer C has a heavy wedgeshaped head with the same base inclination as reference indicate correanvil B, and is acted upon by a strong spring,l
