IMPROVEMENT m LUBRICATING COMPOUNDS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent N 0. 160,128, dated April 28', 1574: application filed October 27, 1873.
To all whom it may concern: i
Be it known that I, D. A. BRADFORD, of Dayton, in the county of Montgomery and State of Ohio, have invented a certain Oompound, called Transparent Sewing-Machine Oil, to he used instead of oils now used for oiling sewing-machines,-of which the following is a specification:
v To prepare the transparent sewing-machine oil, take one-half pound white olive-oil castile soap, shave fine, dissolve in one gallon pure rain-water over a gentle fire. After thoroughly dissolved, let stand until cold; then add one
