With the above and other objects in view which may appear to be inherently related with the scope and nature of this invention, reference is now to be had to the hereunto annexed drawings which arecollaterally related with this specification in which the different parts refer to numeral designations that are identified in thesaid drawings by similaireference characters.

The water running up through nipple 14'enter`s 'chamber 15 `and is led through the claclr-valve 18 into the elongated space 19 formed with the grate 16, wherefrom it passes through connection 20, at the other end, into theheat absorbing pipes 21 which have their discharge into a separator boX 22. Once admitted into said separator box, the water falls into a drain 23 formed therewith and again, by gravity, descends aireturn pipe 24 leading therefrom and which joins in circulation with the water running from pipe 11 into pipe 12 to which said pipe 24 isV connected.

The vapor or steam generated throughout the said circulation finds its passage from the separator box 22 where it is collected, into the boiler 10 through the steam pipe connection 25 adapted to establish communi.- cation between said separator box and said boiler.
In case of vapor or steam being generated within the grate-head 18, an admission pipe 26 leading up therefrom to the separator box 22 is provided for at each end of said grate-head.
Steam generated within the grates 16 closes the valves 18 whereby such steam is shut olf from direct flow through pipe 26 to the separator and is forced through admission pipes 2O and 21 in which it is further heated before entering the separator.
The grate-head 13, as shown in the drawings, is composed of two sections adapted to be connected together by means of bolts 26 and flanges 27.
This grate-head carries a plurality of valves 28, equal in number to the number of hollow grates connected thereto. rThe axes of same are in projection with the axes of the nipples 14, providing for the joints between said grate-head and hollow giates.
rlhe separator box 22 is also provided with as many valves 29 as there are radiator pipes 21 connected thereto, the valves and pipes being also in alignment.
The said box 22 is so interiorly designed thatthe water admitted therein through the heat absorbing pipes 21, is maintained in individual sections until it falls in the drain 23 wherefrom. it goes back into circulation, passing out again through the outlet pipe 24.
From the above .mentioned arrangement of valves 28 and 29, it is obvious that each hollow grate 16, as well as each heat absorbing pipe 21 may be effectively controlled and regulated and even shut oft entirely if required. I
The water, after having Ybeen admitted into the system, will return to the boiler only after having been converted into vapor.
The system, as above referred to and described, will be more etlicient and will rgive a f better output than the former ones claimed in my previous patents. Each grate and radiator being connected separately by a clack-valve, not as much. vapor will be formed before its discharge into the box The loss of heat is, by the contrivanee herein claimed, also substantially avoided from the fact that the outer connections, as-
disclosed in my previous patents, have all been eliminated.
ln the drawings heretofore referred to throughout this description has been shown a certain and preferred form of the invention. It is, however, understood that no limitation is necessarily made to the precise structural details therein exhibited, but, the right is hereby reserved to any changes alterations or modifications to which re course may be had that comeA within the scope of the following claims without departing from the spirit of the invention or sacrificing the eiiiciency ofthe same.
Having thus fully described my invention, what l claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent is:-
1. ln combination with a boiler, a separator mounted thereon', a hollow grate head disposed beneath the boiler, hollow grate bars communicating with and extending from said head, admission pipes extending from the bars aud the hea-d to the separator, a. steam pipe extending from the separator to the boiler, a return water pipe extending from. the separator to the grate head, and a water supply pipe extending from the boiler to said return pipe.
2. ln combination with. aboiler, a separator mounted thereon, a hollow grate head disposed beneath. the boiler, hollow grate bars communicating with and extending from said head, admission pipesextending from the bars and the head to the separator, a steam pipe extending from the separator to the boiler, a return water pipe extending from the separator to the grate head, a water supply pipe extending from the boiler to said return pipe, and check valves disposed between said bars and the grate head, said valves being adapted to close by pressure within the grate bars.
