To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Rose M. TOMASIELLO, a citizen of the United States, residing at Bronx, in the county of New York and State of New York, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Cosmetic Compositions for Application to the Hair and Scalp, of which the following is a specification.

A cosmetic composition, in accordance with this invention and for the purpose set forth, is formed from compounding the roots of lily plants, beef marrow, refined petroleum and a suitable perfume if desired, and by way of example, the proportions of the several constituents which form the composition are as follows Bulbous root-like portions of a lily plant 4 ounces, beef marrow 4 pounds, refined petroleum 4 tablespoonfuls, and any required quantity of perfume.
The lily plant root employed is the bulb of the ordinary Bermuda easter lily.
The manner of preparing the cream is as follows: bi lbous root like portion of the Application filed June 29, 1922.
Serial No. 571,798.

The resulting compound is in the form of a substantially liquid cream and to the latter is added the desired quantity of perfume.
A cosmetic composition, compounded in a manner as hereinbefore set forth, provides a cream which when used on the scalp, will purify and open the pores thereof, preventing dryness of the scalp, thereby overcoming en the formation of dandruff and it furthermore invigorates the scalp in such a manner so that the hair is strengthened as well as preserved, under such conditions reducing the falling out of the hair to a minimum. 55
