In a device of the characterdescribed comprising a movable latching member; means with which said ,latching member normally engages for holding a door against movement; a second door cooperating with said first mentioned door; means for disengaging said latching member from said first mentioned do-or; means for retaining said latching member vin unseated position; means whereby said latching member is released from said retaining means by engagement of said holding means; an electric switch associated with said latching member for making and breaking a circuit, and an auxiliary latch actuated simultaneously with said latching member for holding said doors together, substantially as described.

In a device of the character described comprising a latching member adapted toengage a door to permit movement' thereof; a latching arm held in inoperative position by said latching member and being permitted -to assume engaging position by the movement of the latching member to inoperative position; means for disengaging said iatching arm; a second door eo-operating withv said first mentioned door; and an auxiliary latch actuated by said d isengaging means to hold said doors together, substantially as described. 9. In a device of the character described comprising a latching member adapted to fall to operative position oits own weight;
means with which saidlatching member engages for holding a'door against movement; a latehing arm held in inoperative position by sald latclnng member and being permitto operative position; means whereby s aid door holdlng means engages sald latching arm to permit said latching member to return to operative engagement; a second door s co-operating with said iirst mentioned door;
and an auxiliary latch operable lby said latching member; unseating means to hold said doors together, substantially as described;
