' ticuler, reference to the type or form of 'device enibodying means for attachment to the filler connection of automobile radiators, said means being of a nature and character for illuminating the motor meter proper, so that it can be'seen at; all times, that is to say it my be clearly observed when the car on which my device is installed is used after dark.

The primary object of my invent-ion is to provide a device'of the foregoing referred to character which is applicable to any of the standard forms of motor meters without in any way aifecting their usefulness, while at the same time the illuminating device is so mounted relative thereto that it can be directed in any desired manner thereon.

Another object of this invention is to pro vide a device of the kind referred to which is fitted With a removable lamp the same being of a character and form which readily lends itself for easy removal for use when inspecting or repairing'any part of the car.

. Further objects of this invention reside in the provision of a motor meter illuminating device which is simple in construction, cheap to manufacture, easy to install, and very effective for. the purposes for which it has been devised.

With the foregoingand other objects in view, as will be more apparent from the following description, this invention consists essentially in the novel features of construction, combinations and ar angements of parts hereinafter fully described and more specifically defined by the appended claim.
